Research, education, and sector collaboration

We work collaboratively with academic and sector partners to bring practical knowledge and frontline experience to projects relating to social care nursing, clinical practice, and workforce development.

How we support you

We contribute to research, education, and sector development projects by providing practical expertise from adult social care.

This may include supporting you to:

  • contribute clinical and sector expertise to research projects
  • act as associate consultants on funded programmes or initiatives
  • support the design and development of education programmes
  • contribute to workforce development initiatives for social care nursing
  • review or advise on practice guidance, frameworks, or policies
  • provide sector insight to ensure research reflects real-world care delivery
  • contribute to working groups, steering groups, or advisory boards.

Our aim is to help bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice in adult social care.

Education and nursing workforce development

We support universities and education providers working to strengthen nursing and workforce development within adult social care.

This may include:

  • contributing to the development of social care nursing education programmes
  • supporting student placement development within care services
  • contributing guest teaching or practitioner insight
  • advising on workforce development initiatives for the social care sector.

Sector collaboration

We work with professional organisations and sector bodies on projects that support the development of adult social care.

This may include:

  • contributing to sector working groups or advisory panels
  • providing practitioner insight on policy or practice initiatives
  • supporting sector-wide improvement projects
  • contributing to guidance or professional resources.
